Enphase Energy D380 Twin Pack micro inverter is the "dual" version of the Enphase Energy M190 Micro inverters. The main advantage of the D380 Twin pack is that it is capable of cabling both in 240V or 208V configuration with the difference of just the cabling.

Up to 30 modules can be accomodated by the Enphase Energy D380 system. The twin pack circuit can support up to 4.6kW for residential solar PV systems, whereas one branch can support up to 7kW in commercial three phase circuits. It saves up time, money while bringing many other benefits.

Please see Enphase official website for more details on the Enphase D380 micro inverter.

Does Enphase make an extension cable for the D380.  I have 2 rows of panels separated by a 2 foot skylight.  Do you have a cable that is long enough to connect the two rows of D380 micro inverters?

One more question, can you run Enphase D380s and Enphase M190s on the branch circuit?  Are they compatible?  What if you have 21 panels on a project how would this work?

Jon,

for your first question; yes, there is an Enphase extension cable that is 6', 12' or 20' long. You can check this page:
https://www.greentechrenewables.com/products/installation-supplies?search_query=enphase++cable

Your second question, whether you can connect D380 and M190 in the same system; the answer is "yes". They cannot be on the same circuit branch, but you can definitely use two separate branches with two different inverters. Envoy or Enlighten would monitor all individually.

I recommend you to read this D380 application manual : https://enphase.com/sites/default/files/Enphase-D380-Intallation-Manual.pdf

Does the D380 come with channel nuts to slide along the rail and lock the inverter into the rail?  I am talking about the bolts attaching the Enphase D380 to the rail as shown in the picture below.   If not size bolts do  you need to use for Unirac Solarmount rail?  Do they need to be stainless steel?

Stan, thank you for this question.

Mounting Enphase microinverters is pretty straight-forward. The parts do not come with Enphase but they are easy to find. For Unirac Solarmount rail, all you need is:
>>¼” hex head bolt, washer, nut, for top rail mount.<<

Please check this document for other racking& mounting brands:

i am starting a schletter ground mount system next wk and im tryin to figure everything out. they just dropped the job on me with out any instructions or help. its a new system to me. the d380 micro inverters wont fit right on the rail to meet the bolt that  slides down the slot in the middle of the rail. there is a big box is self tapping screws with a rubber backed washer u think thats what they intended on useing for mounting the inverters to the rail? thanks mike
