Does Xantrex XW inverter include an auto generator unit?
Hello! I have an offgrid setup with a TR3624-120-60 inverter. Can the Xantrex XW Auto Generator Start be used with my inverter or is there another Auto Generator star for it???

OH.... after reading more via google!! I realize I also have a Xantrex XW Solar Charge Controller ahead of my inverter! Soooo..... I am thinking I can use it to control the XW Auto Generator Start to control my generator! It looks like it is compatible with my charge controller! Is anyone familiar with this setup? Can you give me a hand on how this might all work together?? THANKS!
I sounds like you have this going in the right direction. If your generator is set up to be controlled by an external autostart, then you should be all set. Some gen. sets require a start module to be added. If you tell me more about the generator, I might be able to offer more advice.

Xantrex XW Auto Generator Start works only with Xanbus enabled XW systems, such as Xantrex XW 60A Charge Controller or Xantrex XW6048 Inverter/ Charger.
In order to use the Xanbus network, all you need is a CAT5 cable.
Please refer to owner's manual (pdf), page 2-29 and 2-30.
