Greentech Renewables takes cybersecurity very seriously, and we want to inform you of a recent threat we have identified.

Incident Description

Our Cyber Security team recently detected newly registered domain names that attempt to impersonate our GreentechRenewables.com domain to perpetrate fraud. We have made efforts to report this to the authorities in an effort to take down the offending domain.

Often threat actors do this to have customers change payables remittance information in an attempt to have them send money to the perpetrator's bank account rather than to a Greentech Renewables lockbox or Credit Office. Another approach has perpetrators attempting to have suppliers ship material to an unauthorized location using counterfeit orders.
