Recently, Greentech Renewables teamed up with North Texas Solar, a premier solar installer in Denton Texas, to install a 25kWh AC coupled PV system with a 45kWh battery backup. Using Greentech Renewables Engineering services, the system was designed to power a refrigerator containing medication and to maintain the power supply in the event of an outage.
This project employed Chilicon inverters with frequency shifting capacity to prevent the inverters from becoming overloaded, in addition to 300W panels from Canadian Solar and a 48kWh battery from GS Yuasa.
