411kW Manheim Auction Commercial Project

Manheim, one of the world’s largest auto wholesalers, provides vehicle auction services to multiple industries. Manheim has a large wholesale auction facility based in Hayward, CA that serves the entire San Francisco Bay Area. Now, with the help of First Edison Solar and Greentech Renewables SF Bay Area, the Hayward facility is powered by solar energy. Manheim partnered with First Edison Solar, a top commercial installer in California, to build this solar carport along with incorporating vehicle charging capabilities under the solar carport. First Edison purchased the solar equipment from Greentech Renewables to build the carport which is used to power Manheim’s entire facility.

This 411kW carport was built using Q CELLS 425 W - Q.PEAK DUO G6 panels,  Sungrow 60 kW inverters, and Elite Lighting. The carport also has 28, level 2 EV chargers used to charge electric vehicles prior to auction.
